The New Pharmacy Contract specifies certain services which pharmacies must offer to the public. These “Essential Services” are,-

1.  Dispensing. We dispense both NHS  and Private prescriptions.

2.  Health Promotion.

3.  Repeat Dispensing. Patients on regular medication can be issued with a repeat prescription for upto 12 months.

4.  Signposting. If you require additional assistance from other healthcare professionals, social services or voluntary groups we can give you the contact details.

5.  Disposing of Unwanted Medicines. We accept unwanted medicines for safe disposal.

6.  Support for Self-care. We can provide advice and support to help patients take care of themselves.

7.  Clinical Governance. We are bound to ensure that patients receive the highest quality of care possible and have systems in place for monitoring and improving our services.
